Bladder Cancer
Approximately 2.3 percent of men and women will be diagnosed with bladder cancer at some point during their lifetime. Bladder cancer is the fourth most common cancer in men and is less common in women.
The bladder is an organ in the lower part of the abdomen. It is shaped like a small balloon and has a muscular wall that allows it to get larger or smaller. Urine passes from the kidneys into the bladder through two tubes called ureters, and urine empties out of the bladder through another tube called the urethra.
Bladder cancer begins in the cells that line the bladder. Cancer that is confined to the lining of the bladder is called superficial bladder cancer. Invasive bladder cancer occurs when cancer spreads through the lining of the bladder and invades the muscle wall of the bladder or spreads to nearby organs and lymph nodes.
Most bladder cancers are diagnosed at an early stage, when the cancer is highly treatable. Even after successful treatment, people with bladder cancer typically need follow-up tests for years afterward to watch for bladder cancer that may recur.

Kidney Cancer
Kidney cancer is among the 10 most common cancers in both men and women in the United States. It occurs most often in people over age 40. The average age of diagnosis is 64, with most people being diagnosed between ages 65 and 74. Kidney cancer is very uncommon in people younger than age 45. Kidney cancer is about twice as common in men than in women and it is more common in African Americans and American Indian /Alaska Natives.
The kidneys are two bean-shaped organs located behind the abdomen, with one located on each side of the spine. While it is not clear what causes most kidney cancers, scientists do know that cancer begins when some kidney cells develop changes, known as mutations, in their DNA.
Depending on many factors, including the stage of the cancer, different types of treatment will be considered.

Prostate Cancer
Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in American men; one in nine men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. The average age of diagnosis is 66; though it can occur in men below age 50. Research indicates that African American men are 60 percent more likely to develop the disease than white, Latino or Asian men.
Located below the bladder, the prostate is a small, walnut-shaped gland in males that produces the seminal fluid that nourishes and transports sperm. Prostate cancer begins when cells in the prostate gland start to grow out of control.
Prostate cancer is typically a slow-growing cancer, although in younger men, it is often more aggressive and can spread faster, making it more difficult to treat. When found early, the survival rate is very high.

Testicular Cancer
A relatively rare type of cancer, testicular cancer accounts for just 1% of all cancers that occur in men. About 1 in 260 American men will develop testicular cancer in their lifetimes. While it can occur at any age, including childhood, it is the most common cancer in men between ages 20 and 35.
The testicles are two walnut-shaped glands inside the scrotum that produce sperm and the hormone, testosterone. Cancer occurs when healthy germ cells in a testicle develop abnormalities that continue to divide and accumulate until they form a mass. Although cancerous cells can develop in both testicles, it is rare.
Little is known about what causes this to occur and scientists have found few risk factors that make someone more likely to develop testicular cancer.
